Dual-Exit Axle-Back Exhaust for Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 (2022-2025) | 3in Resonated 304 Stainless

A hand-built 3in dual-exit axle-back exhaust for the 2022 and newer Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86. Resonated on both sides so the FA24 gets a deeper, cleaner note without turning the cabin into a drone box on the highway. Fully TIG-welded, argon back-purged 304 stainless, built to order in our central Illinois shop, and it bolts straight to the factory axle-back flange with no cutting.

Originally a Baun Performance design (GTI Jake) — the same dual-exit axle-back originally built by Baun Performance, now hand-built by Brockett Built. We build ours with Stainless Bros resonators in place of the original Vibrant units.

Why this axle-back

• Dual 3in oval Stainless Bros resonators. Real resonators, not straight pipes with a tip. You get the volume and tone of an open rear section with the cruise drone kept in check.
• One-piece Y design, true 3in throughout. A single 3in inlet splits into two resonated legs, so there is no choke point and no seam to leak at the back of the car.
• Jones double-wall tips. 3in inlet, 4in outlet, slant cut, laser-etched Brockett Built logo. Or pick the No Tips option and run your own.
• 304 stainless, TIG-welded and back-purged. Clean, fully fused welds inside and out. No flux, no porosity, no rust-through at the joints.
• Bolt-on install. One 2-bolt flange, factory hangers, hand tools, no cutting or welding. Most owners are done in under an hour on jack stands.
• Lifetime warranty. Same warranty as every Brockett Built exhaust: if a weld or material fails, we replace it.

Frequently asked questions

Will it throw a check engine light?
No. An axle-back sits behind every sensor and the catalytic converters, so there is nothing for the ECU to see, and nothing upstream changes.

Does it drone?
The dual resonators are there specifically to take the edge off highway cruise. It is louder than stock at idle and under throttle, and settles down at a steady cruise. If you want the loudest possible setup, this is not the part; if you want to enjoy the car on a road trip, it is.

Does it fit the first generation BRZ, 86 or FR-S?
No. This system is built for the 2022 and newer ZN8 chassis only.

Will it work with my aftermarket header, overpipe or front pipe?
Yes. Anything upstream that keeps the stock mid-pipe or a mid-pipe with the factory axle-back flange will bolt right up.

Jones tips or no tips?
Jones tips come installed, slant cut and etched, for a finished look with nothing else to buy. Choose No Tips if you already have tips you love or want to run our burnt titanium tips instead.
