4" AWD MQB Downpipe & 3.5" OEM-Fitment Resonated Midpipe — Golf R / Audi S3 / A3 / Alltrack

The complete OEM+ turbo-back solution for the AWD MQB platform — a 4" downpipe paired with a 3.5" OEM-fitment resonated midpipe. On the AWD cars this is offered only as the full package, every option included, hand-built from 304 stainless to our TIG-welded, back-purged standard.

Originally a Baun Performance design (GTI Jake) — this is the same AWD MQB downpipe & midpipe formerly built by Baun Performance, now hand-built by Brockett Built.

Emissions & CEL

Like all of our downpipes, it runs an emissions-compliant GESI Gen2 400-cell catalyst — no check-engine light with or without tuning, and no O2 spacers to mess with.

How it's built

• 4" downpipe feeding a 4.5" GESI Gen2 400-cell catalyst, rated to 850 hp
• Continues in 3.5" with V-band connections all the way through to after the original factory resonator location
• Adds an upgraded Vibrant 17970 bottle-style resonator (5in body) to eliminate any chance of cabin drone and deepen the exhaust note
• 304 stainless steel — TIG-welded, Argon back-purged, hand-built to order

Installation note

AWD MQB cars have six dimples stamped into the factory exhaust (the reference for the OEM "Audi resonator delete" option). The middle two dimples are the cut point for the midpipe installation.
