FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Fitment & vehicles

Will it fit my vehicle?

Every product page lists exact fitment — year, model, drivetrain (VVT-i vs Non-VVT-i where applicable). If you're unsure, message us with your year, model, and any prior modifications and we'll confirm before you order.

Do I need to modify anything to install?

Most of our bolt-on parts (Y-pipes, midpipes, catbacks, snorkels) are designed to fit OEM hangers and mounting points. Some products — like the GX470 4" snorkel — require body cutting per the included instructions. Product pages call out anything that requires modification.

What about EPA / emissions / catalytic converters?

Our Y-pipes and midpipes are offered in multiple configurations: straight pipe, resonated, non-EPA catalytic converter, and EPA-compliant catalytic converter where available. Off-road / race-only configurations are not for use on emissions-controlled vehicles on public roads.

Materials & process

What's the difference between your 304 stainless and titanium parts?

304 stainless is corrosion-resistant, heat-tolerant, and TIG-welds to most aftermarket and OEM exhausts — our standard for daily-driven trucks. Titanium (CP1/CP2 grade) is lighter, holds heat color (gold, blue, multicolor burn), and is used on our premium intakes and snorkels for weight and looks.

Are your welds back-purged?

Yes. Every Brockett Built exhaust, intake, and snorkel weld is back-purged with argon so the inside of the seam looks as clean as the outside. No sugaring, no contamination.

Are parts made in the USA?

Yes. Every part is designed, fabricated, and welded in our Illinois shop.

How does Cerakote / powder coating work?

Both are add-on services. Add a finish product to your cart along with the part you want coated — we'll apply the finish before shipping. Cerakote High Temp is rated to 1800°F continuous, perfect for exhaust components. Powder coat is for non-exhaust parts like bumpers and brackets.

Orders, lead times, and shipping

How long until my order ships?

Most stocked items ship within 5-7 business days. Made-to-order items (custom configurations, color variants, less-common fitments) can take 2-4 weeks. Custom fabrication projects have separate lead times based on workload.

Do you offer rush orders?

Sometimes — message us before ordering and we'll let you know what's possible.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International shipping is calculated at checkout, and the customer is responsible for any import duties or taxes.

Returns, cancellations, and damages

Can I cancel my order?

Because we build to order, we have a no-return, no-cancel, no-refund policy once an order is placed. Confirm fitment and your selected variants before checking out.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Once an order ships, it's out of our control. Damages during shipping should be reported to the carrier directly with photos.

Do you do custom fabrication for my vehicle?

Can you make parts under my brand?

Yes — we offer Private Label Manufacturing for brands and shops. See PLM.
