Printed 2 into 1 Merges: 316L Stainless

A fabrication component to cut labor and speed up production. Each merge takes two inlets into one outlet in a single metal 3D printed piece of 316L stainless, so the hard part of a 2 into 1 collector is already done. Cut and fit your tube, butt weld it to the merge, and move on.

Built for fabricators

• Two inlets merge into one outlet at a 45 degree included angle, 22.5 degrees each side.
• Rounded inside crotch where the two inlets meet.
• Body wall is 0.049in.
• Weld ends are thickened to 0.065in (a step on the inside) to butt weld to 16 ga tube: the last 0.30in of each inlet and the last 0.20in of the outlet.
• Straight 0.30in weld stub on the outlet.
• Seven sizes from 2 x 2in into 2in up to 2 x 4in into 4in, including 2 x 2in into 2.5in and 2 x 2.5in into 3in step ups.

2 x 2.5in into 3in (MG-250-300): the inlets are short and cut just past where they meet, like a hand built merge, so the inlet ends are the plain 0.049in body wall. Only the outlet has the 0.065in weld end.

Install notes

• Weld on part. Butt weld your tube to the two inlets and the outlet, matching each OD.
• The thickened ends are made for 0.065 wall (16 ga) tube.
• Professional welding recommended.
