Description
The V2 Catted 3" Downpipe is a hand-built, direct-fit downpipe for the Mk7/Mk7.5 GTI and Jetta GLI. It pairs a high-flow 400-cell GESI GEN2 catalytic converter with fully TIG-welded, back-purged 304 stainless construction — the top-flowing emissions-friendly downpipe in its class, engineered to run check-engine-light free.
Originally a Baun Performance design (GTI Jake) — this is the same catted downpipe formerly built by Baun Performance, now hand-built by Brockett Built.

Why it's built this way
Every downpipe is fabricated by hand from 304 stainless, TIG-welded and back-purged for clean internal welds and long service life. The 400-cell GESI GEN2 catalyst is chosen to keep the car emissions-conscious and CEL-free without giving up meaningful flow — the setup enthusiasts reach for when they want performance without the headaches.
